I've noticed [https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?title=Start_X_at_Login&diff=236755&oldid=235834 your edit] wrt xinit. If I understand it correctly, [[Xinitrc]] needs some cleanup, because it says ''It's time to run X. To run X as a non-root user, issue:

: yeah, probably. I admit I don't know enough about X to tell exactly why/when you would ever want to use xinit directly, but there were multiple people on the forums who ran into permission problems because they didn't get a logind session with xinit.
