Inspired by 'The Rise of Worse is Better'?

Can we add that it's inspired by -- Karol (talk) 21:03, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

Pardon my ignorance, but where/how did you find this reference? -- Kynikos (talk) 15:00, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
I remembered reading this article years ago when I was familiarizing myself with who's who of computing. I googled 'Worse is better', found out there's even a Wikipedia article about it, picked the link to Jamie Zawinski website and here it is :-)
I think the way 'The Arch Way v2.0' is written closely resembles 'The Rise of "Worse is Better"' and since it was written later, I assume it could have been inspired by it.

Cool, thanks for explaining, maybe we can add:
Inspired by The Rise of "Worse is Better".
at the top, before the ToC?
An alternative would be a See also section I guess, but for some reason I like it less.

I like it better at the top too. I found a non-pdf version of this text on Richard Gabriel's website, so I think we should use this link rather than the one I originally posted. -- Karol (talk) 06:01, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, beautiful, maybe you want to add it since the idea is yours? ^^ -- Kynikos (talk) 14:05, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
Done. If you want to change the formatting or e.g. drop the author, feel free to do so. -- Karol (talk) 14:22, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
