--ghost in autofs5

Hi, after installing autofs from the normal repo I was greeted with > In autofs5 --ghost option isn't valid. In order to start autofs you > must remove that option from your /etc/conf.d/autofs. so apparently --ghost is not valid anymore and should be removed from the wiki and config files --P90 (talk) 16:09, 7 March 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

In fact, it is not in the current config files so only the wiki is out of date I think--P90 (talk) 16:44, 7 March 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

use auto.master.d directory instead of auto.master file

It seems that the recommended way to add rules is to use the auto.master.d directory instead of auto.master file, maybe the wiki should use this recommendation.

auto.smb not picking up UID for use with Kerberos

Tried to troubleshoot auto.smb and after changing uid=${UID} to uid=${AUTOFS_UID} I finally got Kerberos CIFS stuff going. I have no time to take this further at the moment but it might be a bug in the distributed file or we could have a note on our page but I will leave this here for now.

no systemd autofs.service in autofs 5.1.6 =

Downgrade to 5.1.4 fixed it for the moment and I can't put more time into description here
