clipboard-manager

provides a working clipboard manager. With this you can also take screenshots using the cosmic sceenshot app and copy them via clipboard. It would be great if this was part of the cosmic group. Or at least hint it in the wiki? MasterMax (talk) 18:47, 8 June 2026 (UTC)

As for upstream, https://system76.com/blog/post/cosmic-epoch-2-and-3-roadmap the clipboard work is planned for Epoch 2. As for us in the meantime, Clipboard#Managers can be used. Screenshots taken in the app already are copied to the clipboard for use. Normal clipboard functionality exists. Currently COSMIC provides no clipboard manager packages for use with its DE.
