Talk:Colored Pacman output

Imo, an alias in your .bashrc is a cleaner solution than creating a seperate dummy file in /usr/bin. You can just rename 'pacs' to 'p' if you desire. But pacs is somewhere descriptive, and 'p' is not. --citral 12:37, 25 December 2005 (EST)

Correct. It seems however that someone already fixed the link. Also, if someone wants to submit a screenshot of colored pacman output (next to the emerge output, which is from Gentoo), it would be nice too. --citral 10:14, 10 April 2006 (EDT)

IMHO the "pacs" script is rather broken, i can barely read the light-grey text on my white terminal, and the script doesn't seem to reset the colors properly, so that the terminal prompt is colored after running it.
