Unclear instructions on how to make use of FUSE.

Readers aren't really told how to install FUSE. We're told that we can use fuse2 to unmount. But how about FUSE itself? For example, I was told to install fuse if I wanted to run an AppImage. This wiki doesn't really explain how to do that transparently. I don't need to unmount anything. I just want to run an AppImage. Moreover, there's no explanation of the difference between the packages fuse2 and fuse3.
