Fingerprint reader

In my computer, the device ID is 27c6:530c, and fprint does not recognize it. In fact, the article says that it does not work, but in the table it is marked that it does. --ADiazCaro (talk) 23:41, 13 June 2023 (UTC)

It worked for me with fprint, but with problems I mentioned in previous edits. I have a whole office with these laptops (15 of them, to be exact), so I'll see with what device IDs fprint works or not. Cooler fan

On my computer, the cooler fan never turns on, and I could not find any information on how to solve it. It would be nice to report that issue, since it is terrible (to the point that I am thinking of buying another computer), and some people may choose this laptop for Linux following the information on this page. Here's a video showing that it works for me, even though it's not controlled by the Arch Linux. Before editing wiki pages such as this one, make sure to thoroughly check if your laptop is not malfunctioning or it's not an issue on your side at all. Jf-049 (talk) 13:31, 6 August 2023 (UTC)

Sorry about that. The problem is not the computer malfunctioning, since the fan starts without problems on Windows. Maybe it is due to a slight difference between my hardware and yours, as we saw with the Fingerprint reader... ADiazCaro (talk) 13:57, 6 August 2023 (UTC).

Tested the fan working on Arch Linux ISO (2023.07.01) on laptops with MTMs: 20WE006YRU, 20WE0000RU, 20WE0031RU, 20WE0023RU. The fan doesn't start immediately, though, even at 90°C. A simple heat test was performed with dd if=/dev/random of=/dev/null Jf-049 (talk) 07:39, 18 August 2023 (UTC)
