Touchpad not working sometimes after boot
This seems to be fixed by an updated firmware for the Touchpad (?), but the installer is only available for windows (see https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Other-Linux-Discussions/Lenovo-X1-Carbon-7th-Gen-Issues-with-trackpad-and-sleep/m-p/4499186#M13527) HNAtd (talk) 10:06, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
Fixed by updating the Synaptics firmware to the latest version with fwupdmgr. HNAtd (talk) 20:40, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
If the error appears after hibernation, you can remove the i2c_hid and insert the module again. Then moving the mouse works, but not "tap to click". HNAtd (talk) 17:42, 29 November 2019 (UTC)
the top barrel button of the Lenovo Pen Pro is recognized as a virtual keyboard. "xinput list" will show "Lenovo Pen Pro System Control" and "Lenovo Pen Pro Keyboard". The later receives the key press/release events of the top barrel button. HNAtd (talk) 22:19, 12 January 2020 (UTC)

Using linux kernel
- microphone not working after hibernate
Using lts kernel
- no microphone
both (linux + lts)
- After hibernate, the tablet mode no longer disables touchpad and keyboard -> https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=208131
- Attaching the dock doesn't always attach the screens (the USB-C connector seems to be assymetrical)
