Confirm some info

Some things to clarify:

• The exact model I described is Lenovo Yoga 730-15IWL, some devices may differ in other models.
• I couldn't get touchscreen to work, although this is probably an issue with my hardware, since it didn't work on Windows either. If anyone else has it working, please let me know.
• Brightness control keys didn't work on Windows at all. On Linux they work, but they have a significant delay if you press keys too many times.
• I could not find any projects other than Validity90 which are working on revere-engineering fingerprint scanner. It seems to be dead and abandoned.

Information about Lenovo Yoga 730-15IKB

I can confirm that on my Lenovo Yoga 730-15IKB:

• the touchscreen works fine and also with the Lenovo Active Stylus Pen 2;
• brightness control keys work on both Windows and Linux but like you said they have a significant delay under Linux. I don't know if I have configured everything properly;
• I have connected a 4K60Hz display via a Thunderbolt to DP cable. This type C port also supports Power Delivery and can connect to a 4K60Hz portable display with only one cable. I haven't tested the max power and the detailed supported PD protocols.

I'm not sure what can be a good layout for this further information to add into the wiki page. Could you please complete it? Thx!

Thank you for confirming some details. After reinstalling windows I could get backlight keys to properly work on windows. I will edit the wiki with confirmation about untested hardware. Lassebq (talk) 07:59, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
