Information on this laptop is a bit outdated

I installed Arch on this laptop a few weeks ago and almost everything works out of the box, with a few problems. I'm new to Arch and to the Wiki. Can I directly edit the page or shall I propose changes here and discuss them? Archon (talk) 06:46, 10 May 2025 (UTC)

Has anyone experienced system freezes on this laptop?

I have noticed that after playing wine games for a while the system will completely freeze. The content on the screen either becomes frozen, or is corrupted by large black blocks and some moving white lines. There is no way to control the laptop other than holding the power button to reboot.

I tried running a stress test with Furmark on this machine and can trigger it fairly reliably. I also tried switching kernel versions (6.12~6.19.0rc4) and Mesa versions (25.0.0~26.0.0-devel), and the issue still occurs.

I do not know whether this only happens on my unit. I could find very few similar cases online, so I would like to ask if anyone else has encountered this. --Chkkvjjc (talk) 05:36, 12 January 2026 (UTC)

Suspend issues fixed in newer kernel versions

The suspend and resume bugs are fixed in kernel versions 6.19.6, 6.18.16 and 6.12.76.

This includes the keyboard backlight, screen brightness and fans.
