Talk:Onedev
Deletion
Hello,
Yesterday (2023/04/08) Antiz accepted the onedev-bin deletion request. This was due to me parting ways with onedev, I have for a long time fought against the developer to keep the AUR package in the repository, and also to support Arch Linux.
My community instance (free hosting) had data loss due to human mistake, which would have been mitigated if the data was stored separate from the source code.
I decided that fighting against their non-conventional methods was no longer worth my time, I asked clearly if they wanted the package, and they replied[1]
Due to this I asked for the deletion of the package, which was then accepted.
This page now has no use, it documents the Arch installation and update methods, but as the author has made it clear he wants everyone to use his generic install guide on https://docs.onedev.io which works on any Linux distro, this page is now redundant.
Does anyone appose this deletion?
