Awesomewm not a good example?
It's mentioned on this article:
- Polybar is especially useful for window managers that have a limited or non-existent status bar, such as awesome or i3.
Not been an expert, I don't think awemsomewm makes for a good example in this case. Awesomewm has a bar and for what I know, it's not limited at all, in fact, using Lua opens it for endless customization.
