Installation problems with the wifi adapter

Upon initial setup of Arch, and I tried Manjaro, there is a common issue. The Intel ax210 is known to have issues, and requires that you download the proper kernel to ensure it works.

Unfortunately, the device does not have an ethernet port, so you either have to have an external usb to ethernet dongle, or you need to have the necessary firmware pre-installed to ensure the device can connect to the internet.

Officially, Razer hasn't released any drivers for this device. In fact, the drivers page dedicated to this device are displayed as screenshots and that's about it.

I guess if you are an Arch user, you are probably pretty savvy, and moreso than I am. But it's not well documented yet, and so far I have been unsuccessful. I had to contact razer to get a recovery image to get back to Windows, because I couldn't find the drivers anywhere.

I check every day, and will try to keep this updated as I find clues. Cheers.

Please follow the rules under Help:Discussion, specifically the rules against asking for personal help and signing the comments. To address the issue you had with your installation, I recommend that you use your phone internet connection via tethering to install the required drivers. You could also add the required drivers in an extra usb drive following the instructions in the Offline_installation article. If you want to document the problem with the wireless card in the article it would be welcome.
I no longer own the device, so I cannot help writing down a proper way to add in the required drivers to the standard arch iso.
