The steps from the wiki page don't work
There are multiple problems with this writeup.
- first php commands don't work because open_basedir is not set correctly
- the wallabag user can't create a cache directory and so on

Php-legacy might be considered instead of php
Afters successfully following the wiki and using Wallabag for a few months, a recent update of the package php-tidy made it impossible to save web pages. Migrating configs in order to use php-legacy did solve the issue. TcCoy (talk) 20:54, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
