Hi, my name is Joost, I'm from the Netherlands and I've been using Linux since the year 2001, when I flunked my study by spending all my time tinkering with Slackware 7, which had Linux kernel 2.2.16. It took a week to get Xfree86 running, and then another week to get sound from OSS. E16 felt like a download from the future!

I ran some Debian as well as Ubuntu, and CentOS professionally, but since 2013-ish I've been running Arch. btw.
