The ID "SirnoChan" is used across FOSS community. I am not an Arch Linux user because I can't spend much to comprehend how Linux works and customize one with help of Arch. The Linux distribution I use actually are openSUSE and Manjaro. Both are newbie friendly.

I once was a user of CentOS. Like many other newbies, I deployed it onto my server for "stability". Soon I found I had to compile a lot of things for modern features because the official packages were too old. In fact, the right way to install a self-compiled binary is packaging it later on, but not "make install" directly. Packaging in rpm is an a bit difficult mission. I dislike Ubuntu and Debian because they always try teaching users to be accustomed with their best practices.

An obvious advantage of Arch Linux wiki is that it contains more detailed instructions than other distributions'. For sure you can become a master of Linux if you take professional courses. But as an amateur user, it is more important to find solutions as soon as possible in order not to lose passion too early.
