Just came back to the USB Installer page to revert the deletioin of the syslinux comment myself, and found that you had already done it -- thanks. Recently I've only been booting UEFI-enabled motherboards, and if you do a UEFI boot, it works just fine. (Boot entry identified generically as UEFI: USB Hard Drive on the Gigabyte system I'm testing this on right now.) You do need to set the correct disk label as per the instructions I wrote up previously. If you don't have UEFI then indeed it appears not to work. Pgoetz (talk) 20:07, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
