uim

Hi, I see you started the work on uim already. That's great, but before you spend a lot of work on it, let me clarify: When I suggested you can start on writing on your user page for it in Talk:UIM, the idea was to create the general uim article and specific subpages for Korean and Japanese. What you should not do is copy the whole existing article or large chunks (Input Japanese using uim), particularly the Japanese content. The reason is: (1) We want to retain the edit history of it and (2) if you copy and edit like this, noone can check the edits - which means it cannot be moved out of your userpage when ready (and you do want it to be moved to the wiki when ready, don't you?).

My fault - I'm sorry I did not say this earlier in above discussion, but I did not anticipate you start to create one article for everything (uim, Japanese, Korean) on your userpage. Before you continue, best would be to agree the discussion on how to best make the article fit and work for more languages. Please quickly respond to Blowback at Talk:Input_Japanese_using_uim. If you have any questions on above, write them there too - we want to discuss it in one place. Thank you! --Indigo (talk) 10:47, 28 November 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

closing this, thank you for returning to the uim talkpage so quick and picking up the points there. --Indigo (talk) 09:57, 29 November 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
