This deserves some explanation. What does "recent systemd setups" refer to? Anyway, the change is not even in testing, not to mention that it should reach core before being described on the wiki... -- Lahwaacz (talk) 10:41, 19 August 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

What testing change are you refering to (kdbus?)? I didn't need any kdbus changes for User-services to work? It has been working without any of the described dbus changes for months --Spider.007 (talk) 11:01, 19 August 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I was referring to the testing repo, as my expectation was that there is some big change to the systemd package coming and I was not aware of it. Also you might have been using systemd-gitAUR from the AUR.
You don't need the (previously) described "dbus setup" if none of your user units will actually use it. However, if some unit depends on dbus, you need to follow the setup to satisfy this dependency. I will add the removed sections back.

Ah; your removal of the 'including systemd itself' makes the text a lot better; I assumed the dbus magic was required to get User-services to work at all --Spider.007 (talk) 11:44, 19 August 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
