Title/description format for Unofficial projects
After adding some bullets to Getting_involved#Unofficial_projects, I found myself repeating the same description over and over. Maybe someone could think of a few descriptions that actually add something. Otherwise, I'd suggest finding a different format for that section. -- Alad (talk) 17:04, 19 October 2021 (UTC)
Remove references to arch-women
Hey, yall!
Contrary to everything else listed in https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Getting_involved#Groups the arch-women user group looks pretty much dead:
- Domain expired
- mailing list had 1 post in 5 years: https://lists.archlinux.org/hyperkitty/list/arch-women@lists.archlinux.org/thread/NQUHSIBAQS5A5442BS6SB4C6FR4VJDDV/
Basically I don't see anyone being active there for quite a long time and thats why I thought we might aswell remove it. Would be good to get some +1/-1 before actually doing the edit. -- Gromit (talk) 15:11, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- And the last two are basically advertising other communities. What about the mailing list, could it be archived? I think it'd be weird having a mailing list for a community that isn't referenced in the wiki. Levitating (talk) 15:59, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- We could definitely archive the Classroom wiki page. — Lahwaacz (talk) 11:32, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- I feel kinda weird removing a reference without the people directly involved having a word about it, but on the other hand if no one is there to say anything, no sense in keeping dead links.
