Sapgui

Hi, in case you are looking for the installation notes you added for SAP gui: You find them in your userpage User:VoidWalker/Sapgui. We are shortly discussing elsewhere whether there should be instructions for commercial applications on the Archwiki. Cheers. --Indigo (talk) 16:16, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

The discussion was concluded, it is no problem. You are welcome to re-create Sapgui, but I think you agree that the current User:VoidWalker/Sapgui would require quite some work to be a full article. Maybe you can expand it a little before you move it back. Personally I think that the ArchWiki is not the right place/audience for an extensive article on it. If your intention mainly was to create installation instructions for the SAP java GUI, please consider instead to

  1. create an AUR package for it and
  2. add an entry for it in List_of_applications#Finance (or better category).

This way you probably help other users more rather than investing time to create an article on it. I'm closing this discussion. If you have any questions (or cannot figure the AUR package), you are welcome to contact me directly, start a talk in Talk:PKGBUILD or (best feedback for PKGBUILD questions) on the AUR mailing list. --Indigo (talk) 04:02, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
