Wine

About the wine articles: you could likely extend the problematic to the entire category, see Category_talk:Wine. -- Alad (talk) 12:34, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I agree. --Larivact (talk) 13:07, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Project is dead

Regarding User:Larivact/cleanup#Strategy, it doesn't seem clear where you'd draw the line for a "dead project". For example, a project could not have been updated in a few years but may still have user interest or be packaged.

On the other hand the case of old software that's not in the AUR (or only was before AUR4) is a pretty clear case for archiving. -- Alad (talk) 12:39, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

More usage of redirect

Not sure if you're automating this, but if an article has an entry in List of applications it should be redirected to the relevant section. E.g. GIMP to List_of_applications#Raster_editors. If there's a matching category but the package is not mentioned, it can be added (for Gqrx, a mention in Amateur_radio#Software_list). -- Alad (talk) 12:44, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
