Suspend mode

Notes: The issue is not unique to this particular hardware. It is better to document in one place. (Discuss in Talk:ASUS ExpertBook B9450CEA)

By default the system supports Suspend-to-Idle mode, which has increased energy consumption during sleep state:

# cat /sys/power/mem_sleep
[s2idle] deep

To fix that you might want to switch to S3 mode (also known as Suspend-to-RAM or deep) by appending mem_sleep_default=deep to kernel parameters.
