Talk:ASUS G1
Wow, before I checked Arch wiki I corrected Gentoo wiki entry on that model :) http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_Asus_G1
Anyway, has anybody got speedstep-centrino working without kernel patches? UPDATE: I forgot it is already patched in Arch 2.6.21 kernel.
I can also confirm that DVI, D-SUB and tv-svideo outputs are working perfectly. Switching is done with nvidia-settings tool.
To get all hotkeys working I have to correct DSDT file (described in Gentoo wiki), and it is possible to use new dsdt by placing it in /lib/initcpio/custom.dsdt.
One more info - lapsus needs lapsus.conf in /etc/dbus-1/system.d/ directory, 'lapsus' group created, and user who will use the applet added to 'lapsus' group.

Please consider using proper packages instead of advising 'make install'. Writing PKGBUILDs isn't too hard and if you couldn't do it, there's even a forum for requests.
