There are known security vulnerabilites in DDE, reported by developers of the OpenSuse distribution to the DDE developers. The DDE developers did not respond to the reports [1].

Is this still the case? It looks to me like at least some of the bugs have been addressed but due to congnitive impairment, I can't do a deep dive to check and see if this 100% fixed.

At the very least, this belongs in a 'Known Issues' section, not the preface/intro. See: Help:Style#Preface_or_introduction and Help:Style#"Known_issues"_section

Saverio (talk) 06:33, 13 May 2020 (UTC) - The reported bugs by OpensSuse distribution developers have all been closed for the same reason: "There has been no response from the packager or from upstream for a long time. Closing this and related deepin bugs." For me this means no clarification has been provided into the bugs discussion threads, therefore the issues remain.Reply[reply]
