The lib problem (solved by renaming libfree.so.6 and libz.so.1) has evolved into something new. Today my error is "symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libfreetype.so.6: undefined symbol: hb_ot_tags_from_script_and_language". How can I launch Mathematica again? Version 13

I pointed the version 13 instructions to version 12. A few notes about my version 13 installation to help with future instructions.

mathematica^AUR not installed, X11 installed, Wayland not installed, inetutils not installed, avahi-daemon running, run as sudo.
It will report an error saying it cannot find where to put its .deb and .pem files.
It will report an error if avahi-daemon isn't running.

Nonetheless, the installation works so far. If someone can test it on pure Wayland, that would be nice. Agustin (talk) 22:20, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
