Configuration

It seems that /etc/conf.d/ntop is not used anymore. Any configuration updates would need to be setup in the /usr/lib/systemd/system/ntop.service file. —This unsigned comment is by Msalerno (talk) 06:35, 11 March 2016‎. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Yes, that changed apparently with [1]. I have added [2] to the section for now. It would be easier to fix the instructions once the flyspray bug is closed. --Indigo (talk) 18:34, 11 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The SSL certificate used by ntop, if started with -W is not the one configured as per the instructions; enabling SSL seems to work, but not as it should.

ntop phones home, completely ignoring the --skip-version-check option, and even if the page it tries to access will reply with a 302, data will still leak upstream. I've set version.ntop.org to localhost in /etc/hosts as a quick fix. sorin-mihai (talk) 21:56, 19 March 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
