Updating with Pacman fails

Just a warning regarding the linked VM for Parallels:

I've succesfully used the the VM for about a year, but now `pacman -Syu` fails while creating `/boot/initramfs-linux.img`, rendering the system unbootable.

I just tried a clean install from the VM, and it's the same problem.

Parallels#Preparing_dependencies is problematic. Is the installer "script" a compiled binary, or an actual shell script? -- Alad (talk) 12:16, 1 September 2015 (UTC)

It's a shell script supplied in prl-tools-lin.iso Guiguan (talk) 12:21, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
