Just wanted to say THANK YOU to all before me who documented details. I have been interested but also afraid of getting into the weeds with Arch for a few years... finally pulled the trigger with Manjaro because of initial problems with HP G5 Studio laptop on other linux distros. The documentation here inspired me to give it a try, and ultimately the docs here helped me work out more of my issues. That inspired me to create an account and share the bits that I strung together from other docs here to get my laptop closer to a perfectly honed machine for me.
