Pixel 2 Storage

Hi, regarding your edit, do you have any prove to that? I didn't saw any teardown yet, the info available publicly only notes that it's flash storage or SSD which can mean anything (eMMC, iSSD, M.2 NGFF SSD, eSATA ...), if don't know that for sure then please revert your edit. Well, I received my Pixel 2 on Thursday. And someone who works at Google on the Pixel 2 team posted a photo to the /r/ChromeOS subreddit detailing the insides, showing that the SSD is soldered onto the board. Eddie (talk) 14:36, 14 March 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks @Eddie, I wonder if the note saying it a SSD Sata chip is correct, it doesn't seem Kingston got storage BGA chips embedding SATA controller and flash storage (like SanDisk iSSD or Silicon Motion FerriSSD) and with the fact that it's also described in the picture that the Pixel 2 has BIOS flash (which is nonsense) is bring me to the conclusion that the person who added the description isn't an hardware expert (my guess it's an eMMC device but I'll wait for a better picture to conclude that), anyway thanks for sharing, closing this talk.Dhead (talk) 16:07, 14 March 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
