How to avoid full extracting without additional makedepends?
I'm wondering how to avoid full extracting only for few files. bsdtar seems not a solution at least for squashfs-image. oech3 (talk) 08:20, 3 May 2025 (UTC)
- It seems AppImage supports partial extraction.
- By the way, some people reports build failure at self extraction on fakeroot.

Move to official page (or remove the page)
It seems existense of unofficial packaging guideline recommends to use `-appimage` as package name and causing many duplications with `-bin` package. This should be part of official guideline if it should be really respected. oech3 (talk) 06:36, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
