/dev/hidraw2 disappears on Steam Deck launch

Since some time ago (maybe a Steam update) the Steam Controller is not shown anymore in Steam. I spend some time checking what is happening and it seems that there are 4 hidraw devices (0-3). Number 2 disappears while starting Steam.

I can add it again with "echo "3-3:1.2" > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usbhid/bind". Anyone here with same problem? DocMAX2 (talk) 11:44, 24 May 2024 (UTC)

I have /dev/hidraw{0-7} on my side with an LCD model today, but I don't have Steam installed on my side.

Sorry for the late answer, I finally got to remembering to install Steam to test: no hid devices disappear on my side. Might be OLED specific? Has this been fixed on your side since? Erus Iluvatar (talk) 20:10, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
