Please check my edits in [1] and adjust your editing style according to the linked sections in Help:Style.

Also note that /var/run is a symlink to /run in Arch Linux so changing that is pointless. Lahwaacz (talk) 07:34, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I wasn't ever able to get it to work without updating the socket config, but I'm happy to drop that bit of the guide.
I'll update the page to match the guidelines presently. Thank you kindly for the heads up. Duchess (talk) 18:42, 1 April 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oh last thing, I've noticed that all of the code sections with CLI commands in them include the # or $ prompt character for the shell, this drives absolutely nuts since it means I can't copy and paste a command directly into my shell. Do you know the reason this style is used? Duchess (talk) 18:58, 1 April 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It is more important to clearly indicate how the command should be executed than making it (too) easily copy-pastable. You can read more about it in Help:Reading#Root, regular user or another user. — Lahwaacz (talk) 10:50, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
